 Vltor MUR-1A Upper Receiver

The MUR is a rigid Mil-Spec flat-top upper made to fit all AR15/M16 M4 rifles and carbines. The MUR was developed to give the customer a Mil-Spec correct upper receiver with a thicker wall, making the MUR upper receiver a stronger platform. This more rigid upper receiver will increase accuracy and reliability, while extending the life of the interfacing components. The MUR-1A model comes equipped with a shell deflector and forward assist. The MUR-1S comes with a one-piece machined shell deflector only.

***The SP-A5 kit is designed for the A5 system and is only compatible with other A5 products. This SP-A5 spring kit requires the use of an A5 receiver extension tube. The physical dimensions of A5 buffer components are different than that of standard carbine or rifle buffer components. You cannot blend components from the different buffer systems. Doing so may result in injury or damage to your firearm.

The RE-A5 Receiver Extension is a 7-position receiver extension tube designed to work with the VLTOR A5 buffer system.

This receiver extension is slightly longer than the traditional M4 receiver extension and is designed to work with Mil-Spec dimensioned M4/AR-15 type collapsible stocks.

This receiver extension tube can also can be utilized as a replacement receiver extension for the AR-10 rifle.
