Vltor MUR-1A Upper Receiver

The MUR is a rigid Mil-Spec flat-top upper made to fit all AR15/M16 M4 rifles and carbines. The MUR was developed to give the customer a Mil-Spec correct upper receiver with a thicker wall, making the MUR upper receiver a stronger platform. This more rigid upper receiver will increase accuracy and reliability, while extending the life of the interfacing components. The MUR-1A model comes equipped with a shell deflector and forward assist. The MUR-1S comes with a one-piece machined shell deflector only.

PLEASE NOTE:
Due to our Lifetime Warranty, we advise that you not remove or attempt to remove your shell deflector. The shell deflector is pinned in place during factory assembly. Our Lifetime Warranty covers all of our products as long as they are not modified in any way (i.e. disassembly). We do offer a service in house that will maintain your Lifetime Warranty. The Superlative Arms patented “Bleed Off”, direct impingement, gas block for the AR15 platform adjusts the gas flow by bleeding the gas out of the block instead of restricting the flow like conventional adjustable blocks.  Results:

• The pressure used in the block is reduced only to the amount required to drive the bolt carrier. The remaining gas / pressure are bled out of the block allowing the system to run much cleaner and cooler. 
• Reduction of felt recoil.
• Patented adjustment detent is located outside of the block and therefore no contamination.
• The gas adjustment screw does not restrict the gas flow; therefore there is no erosion or seizing of the screw / no loss of detent due to carbon build up.  Although it is removable, we have added a safety mechanism, which stops you from unintentionally backing the screw all the way out.
• When using SBR’s and / or suppressors the bleed off port allows the excessive pressure to be exhausted out of the block reducing blow back.

Samurai Firearms Carrier Group Machined in-house! Complete, .223/5.56mm AR-15 bolt and carrier assembly comes with all the parts, fully assembled, and ready to go. Precision-machined carrier and bolt. Mil-spec dimensions ensure proper fit and function in a wide variety of OEM and aftermarket upper receivers. All components, including bolt and gas key are finished in Black Nitride QPQ for extra strength and corrosion resistance. Interior and wear surface areas of the carrier are honed and polished and for additional durability and to aid in clockwork reliability.

Rear Profile is the same as Full Auto M16 Carriers.

Warranty: Lifetime Warranty Under normal Civilian Use. Professional LE and Military Use 10 Years or 10,000 Rounds Whichever comes first.
