New units will not have vented handguard. These holes are very hard to machine smoothly and the heat reduction benefit is negligible. Kits may be reintroduced in the future with vent holes, but cost will be $40 more. Let us know if you would be interested in vented hand guards. Demand will dictate whether we will go back to vented hand guards.
