About a year ago we were introduced to VORTEX line of scopes; and having been burnt in the past by optics companies that proclaim great things with their products, we hesitated before endorsing this line. After extensive testing and comparing to other much more expensive optics, we feel confident in endorsing the VORTEX RAZOR and VIPER line of OPTICS. They are NOT made in China. The RAZOR line is MADE 100% in JAPAN. The VIPER's Glass and Internals are made in JAPAN and Final Assembly is the Philippines. Both are backed by a 100% Unconditional Warranty. The glass clarity is equal too and in fact I believe exceeds the clarity of much more expensive optics. I personally own 4 Nightforce’s, 2 Leupold Mark 4’s, and a very expensive Canon Camera Lens that cost double that of some high end optics. I am no stranger to quality optics. The repeatability of the scopes is excellent, and the tracking is among the best of the best. I still haven’t figured out how they can sell these optics at this low of price – It has to be one of the best bargains in the optical world.
